One of the major crypto currency exchange Bittrex has announced to launch a new USD market for Siacoin on Oct 29. The new Siacoin/USD pair will allow the clients to directly trade USD against Siacoin.
Bittrex is the most popular crypto exchanges for trading altcoins in the USA and other countries and introducing a USD market for Siacoin will provide more liquidity and volume to Siacoin.

After the hard fork, only miners using Obelisk miner which is developed by the Sia team will be able to mine on the blockchain. It could be a new start for Sia project after ending a year long controversy over mining and launching of new markets will definitely add growth to the project.
